Victorinox Launches I.N.O.X. World’s Most Durable Watch

New York, NY (August 27th, 2014) – In honor of its 130th Anniversary and its “Firefighters for Life” partnership with the City of New York (FDNY Foundation), Victorinox launched I.N.O.X., its latest timepiece at Stage 37 in NYC.

Stated in its name, “Forged to Resist,” the I.N.O.X. has been subjected to 130 challenging tests including extreme temperature and extraordinary conditions. Guests and bloggers at the event were treated to a number of interactive workshops where some of these tests were demonstrated, including:

  • Submersion in 300 degree boiling water

  • Immersion in a block of ice

  • A Washing machine cycle

  • Full power Sand blasting

  • A 64 ton NYC fire engine drive over

Additional festivities included a social media challenge with guest bloggers competing for a chance to win a new I.N.O.X via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
