Pizza Hut Rolls into Normal with “Not-So-Normal” Deliveries

NORMAL, IL (November 19th, 2015) – As part of Pizza Hut’s unveiling of its new ‘Flavor of Now’ Menu, Synergy and Olson teamed up to help the company celebrate by making “Not-So-Normal” deliveries with a parade down Constitution Boulevard.

Residents of Normal ordered online or over the phone with the phrase “not so normal” in the delivery instructions for the chance to receive a memorable Pizza Hut Delivery.

Spokeswoman Courtney Moscovic said, the rollout also took place in Bland, Mo. and Boring, Md., and explained why these towns were chosen.

"What we're doing with our menu is not so normal," said Moscovic. “We basically invented what pizza was in America back when we started in 1958 and now we're taking the whole category to new places, putting new flavors on pizzas that you haven't seen before."

As part of the celebration, Pizza Hut presented a check for $10,000 to the Children’s Discovery Museum where members of the Gamma Phi Circus and Roller Derby Girls paraded in with free samples of Pizza Hut’s new pizza.

The donation will benefit the museum’s mission to "Inspire the Love of Learning through the Power of Play.”  "It's going to enable us to do a better job of serving our museum members and guests and members throughout the Central Illinois community," said Jenni Blum, Marketing Coordinator for the Town of Normal Parks and Recreation.
