Beanitos a Great Kickoff for Tailgating

NEW YORK, NY (October 18th, 2014) - In honor of tailgating season, all natural, gluten-free Beanitos helped consumers shift their mindset to a healthier snacking option on game day and beyond at the NYC Food and Wine Festival.

Guests who attended the event had a chance to sample the bean-flavored chips including Restaurant Style, Nacho Cheese, Chipotle BBQ and Original Black Bean. As part of the Beanitos tailgate, consumers were treated to an interactive experience with corn hole, giveaways and #beantastic photo ops.

Beanitos recently queried people nationwide via The Beanitos State of Snacking Survey, revealing that 85% of Americans want a healthier snack life.

“Consumers of all ages are growing increasinigly smarter about their snacking choices and craving delicious taste plus the bonus of nutrients like protein and fiber, so they are ‘smart snacking’ more consciously than ever before,” according to Dan Costello, Beanitos Chief Executive Officer. He added, “Our survey results mirror what we hear from our customers in all the markets we do business. We really are what we eat.”
