Arthur Ashe Learning Center Honors President Clinton and Bunch at Inspiration Awards

New York, NY (September 9th, 2014) – On Tuesday, the AALC Inspiration Awards Gala benefited the Inspirational Tour: an educational, interactive exhibit honoring the life and legacy of Arthur Ashe through the lenses of tennis and sport as well as youth and education, health and wellness, and service and citizenship.   DSYN1307_01129.jpg 

Robin Roberts, co-anchor of Good Morning America hosted the event at Gotham Hall. The presentation of the Heart of Arthur Award, which recognizes outstanding individuals who personify Arthur’s commitment to service was presented to President Bill Clinton.

Lonnie G. Bunch, III received the first Inspiration Award, created to honor individuals who make extraordinary achievements in education and culture and who will serve as an inspiration for subsequent generations.

Funds raised at the Gala will help secure and sustain the permanent home for the Inspirational Tour and Arthur’s legacy, providing an educational resource open to the public in perpetuity.

Synergy was honored to play a small role in the development of the interactive exhibit commemorating the life and legacy of Arthur Ashe.
