    Senior Vice President of Business Development

    The Senior Vice President of Business Development is responsible for driving the cultivation of new business opportunities and sales, particularly with consumer brands.  Reporting to the President, the Senior Vice President of Business Development will help shape the strategic vision and growth of the Agency by creating partnerships and developing integrated experiential platforms.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Working closely with the President and Executive Vice President, Client Services, the Senior Vice President of Business Development will identify new business opportunities and manage the sales process, including developing key targets, showcasing capabilities, creating proposals and leading client presentations
    • Playing a lead role in evaluating and directing any inbound new business opportunities
    • Collaborating in developing, evaluating and implementing business development planning, processes and tools across the agency
    • Cultivating and nurturing client relationships to help further drive organic revenue growth
    • Driving the fulfillment of new business and organic opportunities by maximizing creative concepts and program budgets
    • Serving as a key member of Synergy’s Senior Management team

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Significant, profitable experience in initiating and driving experiential marketing business and creative opportunities, preferably in an agency environment
    • A large group of existing and proven clientele and business relationships that can be quickly leveraged by Synergy to effectuate new business development, new client relationships, and immediate sales impact
    • A drive for growth, results and success built around aggressive sales benchmarks and performance incentives
    • A deep network of relationships among consumer brands and marketing agencies
    • Demonstrated success in selling in experiential programs, strategic planning, program development, budgeting and profitability analysis
    • Skill in leading both client and employee relationships
    • Substantive experience in negotiating “win-win” contracts with both existing and prospective clients
    • A solutions-oriented, ownership mentality, coupled with a strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit and the energy and enthusiasm to work in a performance-driven environment

    Tour Managers

    Tour Managers are part of our "on the road" team and play an integral role in creating memorable brand experiences for Synergy's clients. These valuable team members provide day-to-day event management, transportation, client communication and safety functions necessary to create fun, interactive events.

    General Responsibilities: site inspections, event site build in-market staff management, event breakdown, payroll, event results/recap reporting, compliance with DOT regulations, vehicle maintenance and inventory management.

    Desired Skills: are solution/detail-oriented, possess strong verbal and written communication skills and are driven to provide exceptional customer-service

    Brand Ambassadors

    We are looking for enthusiastic individuals interested in serving as event staff at events across the country. In-market brand ambassadors fulfill various event functions including event set-up and breakdown, product sampling, key message delivery and data collection.

    Successful In-Market Brand Ambassadors are experienced, energetic, and committed to sharing positive brand experiences with the target consumer in an engaging and professional manner.

    Internship Opportunities

    Aspiring professionals have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in experiential marketing and promotions management through Synergy’s Internship Program.

    You’ll work side by side with team members to complete tasks vital to the planning and implementation of experiential marketing programs, including research, site selection, venue design, branding, event programming and talent management. Interns will also have exposure to concept brainstorming and business development.

    Internship Programs:

    • September – December (Fall Term)
    • January – May (Spring Term)
    • May – August (Summer Term)

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, ability to work on multiple projects at once
    • Strong writing, editing, and research skills.
    • Ability to work and contribute effectively as a member in a dynamic team-structured environment.
    • Strong leadership and time management skills.
    • Proficient in MS Office programs.
    • Utilization of creativity, spontaneity and problem solving.
    • Prior experience in marketing, business, public relations or related fields.
    • Candidates pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, Business, Journalism or another related field are strongly preferred.
